We currently are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper at our Huntingburg office. Freedom Bank offers a competitive benefit package.
- Field phone calls and assist customers with banking products and services.
- Post debit and credit journal entries.
- Data entry and balancing bank applications.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Provide internal support for employees.
- Perform additional responsibilities as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Outstanding listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow directions and apply policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to adapt to a busy work environment.
- Ability to speak on the phone with professionalism.
- Basic math proficiency with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).
- Experience or knowledge of accounting and deposit operations is preferred, but not required.
- At least one year of experience in a financial institution environment.
